Steal the Bobo Trade Helper

The Trade Helper is a decision checklist for Steal the Bobo negotiations. Run it before you tap Accept.

Checklist

1. Goal: Income, Index, or flex? Pick one.
2. Income delta: Estimate before/after with the Income Estimator.
3. Rarity sanity: Compare bands via Rarities.
4. Tier sanity: Check Best Bobos and Values.
5. Index: Does this finish a cash boost (Index Guide)?
6. Dupes: Are you giving a unique earner or a duplicate?
7. Pressure: Is the other player rushing you? If yes, pause.
8. UI: Official trade window only (How to Trade).
9. Lock: Base locked before and after (How to Protect Your Base).
10. Regret test: Would you still accept in one hour?

Score the deal

• 8–10 checks green → likely accept
• 5–7 → renegotiate adds
• Under 5 → decline

Example

You give an A-tier unique earner for a B-tier Index piece without a cash boost. Income drops, boost absent → decline or demand adds. You give a B-tier dupe for an A-tier that also fills Index → accept.

Chat macros that stay polite

“LF [entry] for Index, FT dups.” “Can you add? Income drops for me.” “Locked now, unlocking for trade UI only.” Clear language beats spam.

After accept

Place, recalculate income, lock, update your LF list. If you got scammed via social engineering outside the UI, review Executor and phishing warnings on Scripts Hub — different threat, same lesson: slow down.

Trade Helper exists because Steal the Bobo servers move fast. Your checklist should move faster than the hype, not slower than the Accept button.

Speed runs of the checklist

In hot servers you may only have ten seconds. Run a compressed version: goal, income delta, dupe?, pressure?, official UI?, lock after. If any fail, decline. Full ten-step checks are for large S-tier deals where a mistake costs days of progress.

Post-trade journal

Note W/F/L and why. Patterns appear — maybe you overpay for colors, or under-ask for dups. Journals improve Values intuition faster than reading charts alone.

Helper exit checklist

Decline pressure trades, screenshot odd offers, relock, and re-run income math. The trade helper exists so Steal the Bobo deals stay boring and fair — excitement belongs on the path, not in panic accepts.

Pressure phrases to refuse

“Unlock so I can see,” “trust trade,” “owner giveaway,” and timed countdowns are refuse-on-sight. Ask them to use the official trade UI only. If they leave, you kept your roster. Pair this helper with How to Trade whenever a deal feels rushed.

Post-trade audit

After accept: confirm inventory, place new Bobos, relock, then run a thirty-second income sanity check. If cash/sec dropped more than expected, you learned a value lesson — update your notes beside Values before the next offer.

Fairness scorecard

Give each offer a quick score: income impact (0-3), Index need (0-3), duplicate flexibility (0-2), trust signals (0-2). Accept only when the total beats your personal threshold and the other player uses the official trade UI. Write the score in chat notes if you trade often. Steal the Bobo values shift after patches, so refresh this scorecard whenever Updates land and before you move an S-tier again. Relock the moment the window closes.

Teaching the helper to a friend

Walk them through one declined bad offer and one accepted fair offer using this checklist aloud. Steal the Bobo improves when more players refuse unlock scams. Send them How to Trade afterward and remind them that values without locks are theater.
